Today Koka Maria came in and we worked on some Cyber Smart learning. We chose one of our comments that we did for somebody else and we fixed and edited them to make them a better blog comment. Here is my before and after! Please leave some feedback and comments about my learning.

Naomi's Google Drawings Images

Today I created a Google drawing with images. We learnt how to arrange a photo over top of another photo. I choose the netball player because my favourite sport is netball. I personally choose the background because it is so beautiful in Mahia. We also learnt how to use tools in google and make sure that the image is transparent and labeled for reuse.

Google Drawings Learning

Today we did a task called what do i know on Google drawings. I found this task easy and fun because i learnt knew things and also got to show what i know. Mani Kalani is helping us learn and improve our chromebook skills. Koka Maria ( the Mani Kalani person ) come's in every Wednesday and talks to us about the chromebook. In this task i showed 3 things that i know.

Digital Dig

Digital Dig - Keyboard Shortcuts

Digital Dig. In Room 1 we have worked on task called Digital Dig. To get this very helpful keyboard you need to hold down ctrl + alt + / at the same time. Holding down those keys will lead you to all the shortcuts. All you need to do is find what your looking for then test it out.

Cyber Safety Poster

This week in Room 1 we created posters about online safety. First we watched a video starring Garfield and his family about being safer online. My poster was created on a website called Canva.com. We made posters telling people some tips on being safe online. I will post every week about my learning. Please leave some feedback and comments!
