Kaipara (Athletics Day)

On Tuesday and Wednesday we had Athletics Day. Our school sold Ice blocks and Ice creams to fundraise for a school in Samoa. One of our teachers went to Samoa for 1 year and she adventured around schools and around their island, so she wanted to fundraise some money for their school. At WBS we have high jump, long jump, ball throw and 50 - 200 meter sprints on Athletics Day. This year our Athletics Day went for 1 and a half days. Next week is Interschools Athletics and I am hoping my friends do well. Please leave a Comment and some Feedback about my learning.

Buddy Class Video:

Some Friday's our Buddy Class Room comes in to our class, they are Year 1 and 2's. Room 7 shares writing and read books with us. A couple of weeks ago I shared a small video about my group reading task. The book that I made the video about is called Water Worries by Rachel McMillan. I made my video on WeVideo. WeVideo is easy and fun to use. I also incorporated GIFs because they move and it will bring more attention to my younger buddy. This is my video I hope you Enjoy!

This Term's Inquiry is all about " Actions Speak Louder than Words ". We have also got speech's this term. My speech is all about PLASTIC. Plastic currently litters our ocean and more than 100,000 marine creatures die a year from plastic. My speech title is " Plastic ain't so Fantastic, ".
